Art Deco Phoenix Bookends

Dating from 1930's France, these unusual bookends are in the form of a rising Phoenix. The impressive figures are made of spelter on a grey marble base, reminiscent of ashes. They are not signed but are sculpted by a fine artist and in fine condition.
